휴덕 (hyudeok)

What 휴덕 means
Taking a break from fandom.
When Koreans use it
Say you are pausing fan activities without necessarily stopping being a fan.
A short conversation
Korean
A: 이번 행사 안 가?
B: 시험 때문에 잠깐 휴덕이야.
English
A: Not going to this event?
B: I'm taking a break for exams.
Use it with care
Different from 탈덕. The pause may be practical rather than emotional.
